In this breakfast seminar Dr Martin Braun, head of the Medical Dept at InEK (2003-2010) managing the German DRG-system, will cover the following points:

Dr Martin Braun is a specialist in internal medicine/gastroenterology/diabetology. He has completed post graduate studies in health man¬agement at the Heidelberg/Mannheim University as well as further education in quality management (the German medical association).
Until 2000 he was a senior physician at the Ansbach clinic. 2001 he moved over to the German Hospital Association, Düsseldorf, where he 2002 was the deputy head of the department for medicine. From 2003 to 2010 he was the head of the Medical Department at InEK GmbH, Siegburg. Since January 2011, he is working as an associate consultant for Synergus.
