Sep 15, 2011
Palo Alto, USA

Introducing our new series of Med-tech Breakfast Seminars for Med-tech investors

Developing Company value through EU Market Access

With increased regulatory hurdles in the US, more and more start-up companies are heading to Europe for initial commercialization. In this first seminar we will provide an overview of how company valuation is influenced by the progress in EU market access and reimbursement.

This seminar will commence with a brief introduction to EU Reimbursement and Market Access by Mattias Kyhlstedt, CEO from Synergus

Following this brief introduction, our main speaker, Amit Patel from Medtronic, will continue with perspectives from an acquirer regarding EU market access. We will hear about:

- How the progress and status in EU market access influences the valuation of the company
- What acquirers look for when they evaluate the execution and strategy for reimbursement and market access
- Some examples from a recent acquisition.
